Pride. "I'm the goalkeeper, I don't need you" sometimes we need to sacrifice personal glory for the good of the team.

As you can see, number 81 gets the guilty, he does not jump

You should always trust those 'sudden' gut feelings 😅

With the player on the goal line there would be no offside which gives the attacking team better goal scoring options. Teams almost never put a player on goal line when defending a free kick.

Number 18 was thinking ….”I’m not jumping up … I need to go the bathroom as soon as possible “

Back in the late 70s, as a goalkeeper i realised that a wall of players was no protection as free kick takers could bend the ball over and around the wall, with and this is crucial, pace. My answer after several failed practices was stand in the middle of the goal, with just a 2 or 3 player wall. It amazes me that keepers and coaches still use the same techniques for free kicks which patently don't work, but changed the man on each post at corners, that did work. I have to say that free kick is sublime and no goalkeeper is saving that.

The guy on the very right didn't jump. I'd be examining his bank accounts if I was a cop dealing with corruption.

#18 or 81 that last guy to the far right, as short as he is he didn't even try, like he wanted him to score

It's purely the goalkeeper's fault if only he didn't act like he was too pro, then the goal would have been saved by his own teammates

But why didn't the number 18 guy even try to jump

I want to see what happened afterwards between that guy and the goalkeeper. Did they kick the goalkeeper out or what??
