President Putin has issued a DECREE enabling Russia to take CONTROL of the Russian Businesses owned by Danish brewer Carlsberg & French food company Danone. Both of these companies had agreed a SALE to Russian buyers but the Sale needed to be approved by the Russian state and President Putin has now decided to SEIZE these assets rather than allow the sale to complete. In this video I provide more details on these deals and also the seizure of Power Plants in Russia that were owned and operated by Uniper and Fortum, look at the losses incurred by industries including the OIL INDUSTRY, AUTO INDUSTRY, BANKING and CONSUMER PRODUCTS and discuss the implications for both Russia and the Global Economy.

Maybe if Ursula von der Leyen wasn't running around in the early days of the SMO saying all the Russian assets were the EUs and would be used for Ukraine, this wouldn't have happened. Remember, it takes two to tango.

I am pretty sure that all those big companies will be able to get those costs back as a tax write-offs. As always we are going to pay for all this crap.

"it's okay when we do it" - western countries

My thinking is that these Western businesses should have moved out of Russia two years ago - so, this is their reward for being loyal to Putin. Thanks Joe, love your reports!

reminds me of the '' Reichsfluchtsteuer '' when Jews who wanted to leave Germany had to hand over nearly ALL assets to the Nazis !!

Western businesses aren't too far from being kicked out of China either. We'll soon no longer be in a global market, but a dual market system.

Anyone with a passport in a western country should have gotten out. Unbelievable that some still trust Russia.

Joe. What happened to all Russian gasprom assets located in Germany in beginning of 2022? Germany just took them. Yes.. Thats it. Have you forgotten that?

20:00 This is actually NOT true. I refer to the vids on YT of "Real Reporter", whom is a Russian-based journalist whom actually shows daily life. He (and others) have shown ample of times now, that all shops still provide all "foreign" brands as well. Some of the companies that "left" just tweaked their names a bit (using Cyrillic writing, for instance), others are unaltered and imported from countries that aren't sanctioned but friendly to Russia - but all are the original stuff.

It's one of the biggest misconceptions in the West: that all Western brands and companies "left", and that the products of those that left can't be found/sold anymore in Russia. Both notions are untrue. As for the factories, like those of cars: they're now taken over by Chinese automakers, giving an additional choice to the Russian consumers.

It's really not all that simplistic black&white as we, the West, think it is.

Any business that did not stop doing business in Russia after 24 Feb 2022 deserves any losses it receives as a result of Putin's nationalization of their assets!

All those assets and reserves are not infinite. Sooner or later Russia will start collapsing hard. The longer it takes the harder the fall will be.

That's what UK did to that Russia guy Abramovich when he was selling Chelsea football club, and we are pretty sure it wasn't only him. Western countries had seized more Russian asserts than they admit in media, yet they cry foul play when Russia return the favour, sit down

Will any western company ever invest in Russia in the next 50 years again after this ??
