Yaesu FT-891: 60-Meter Band Operation

In this video I show how to use the custom tag feature to rename the preprogrammed 60-meter band memory channels, so they read the actual SSB frequency. I also show a trick I use to provide a carrier for my auto-tuner to lock onto when it seeks a proper match for operation on 60 meters. And, finally, I show how the ZIN (Zero In) function can inhibit transmit on the 60-meter band, if the station you are receiving is slightly off frequency.

Another great way to help support this channel is to click subscribe.

My radio has the same channel on SSB as it does for CW. For instance ch501 is 5.330.00 like ch506. It should be 5.332.50 for USB. How do you get yours to be different than the CW?
