Sometimes running and even riding a horse doesn't seem fast enough in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Without a sprint feature, there's another way to get to certain destinations faster than you might think! With the use of Skooma, the hero can quickly run across short distances faster than ever before. There is a catch though...

Yea. You can actually drink a lot more than 4. Open the inventory, drink the skooma, close the inventory, open it back up, drink more skooma, rinse and repeat until it forces you to stop. You can absolutely launch your character off any sloped surface with the right timing

Not sure which version of the game speedrunners use, but they drink 4 with a hotkey and then 4 in the inventory menu for a total 8 active at one time!

Bro that glitch was unreal I had 1000 bottles from the dupe glitch and then I push my analog stick forward and literally sent me halfway across cyridol and died

You can actually drink 8 if you exit the menu and open it back up so you can go sanic fast

Or simply increase the speed perk when you level up

I still find this pretty slow compared to my 255 speed/acrobatics/athletics character I made with exploits hahaha

Get Shadowmere he is the fastest horse in the whole game. He will take you across the whole map and less then five minutes.

Yeah you can drink 8 off the hotkey ince it decays so 8 can easily be active at a time. But you can only consume 4 at a not. Not technically that you can't drink more than 4. Lol

Exploit? This is like saying using potion of health is an exploit because it reads what it does on the tin, but you knew that using either fortify speed or atheltics(I forgot which one) on your horse would have really wild results since they use different multipliers?

4 in inventory, i think 3 from hotbar, then you can do some sketchy shiz and drink more. Or just get mr a cats mod and grab cat space mission, then have fun breaking the game entirely, also you can dupe most items with scrolls, ontop of that if you look at how to script you can remove the drink limit, and drink a million skooma than destroy all of cyrodill and somehow end up in morrowind, but also transcend space and time and also be able to project yourself into skyrim. Also palagius might just show up randomly and start talking to you id you do. Oblivions weird man.
