Standing ovation in UK parliament for the Ukrainian ambassador

The Speaker of the House, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, welcomed the Ukrainian ambassador to the UK, Vadym Prystaiko, to parliament.

MPs clapped and cheered as they gave him a standing ovation, a highly unusual act in the Commons

I saw the UK’s defence minister Ben Wallace say that Britain would defend Sweden in case of Russian aggression. He even said we are a part of the same family. I thank you from the bottom of my heart to the courage of the British people, together we will make sure Europe never again falls under the tyrannical rule of dictatorship.
