this reminds me of the polymer design tool that they had awhile back. if you're asking where is it now I'll say it's buried 6ft under. I hope this cloud prototyping tools survives but still having heard no news

+1 for NG.EXE!! This would simplify the workflow. I know npm is everybody's darling, but is a pain when you get all these thousands of files

Nice presentation. Nice to hear Google initiatives. Just a question, Doesn't prototyping will make designers work first and developers later? Idea should be both are engaged in one source at a time. +What about full stack individual developer who wants separation between design and development for the sake of simplicity and working simultaneously?

I'm a one man full-stack shop (including design) just learning angular and unfortunately this didn't really help. It's all very high level big picture stuff that may never materialize. What we need now is just simple down to earth best practice docs on CSS with angular. How to structure it. How to leverage global vs component CSS for different needs. What about resets. What about pre-processors as they relate to all of the above? How does angular material fit into the picture. I'm sure a lot of good best practices can be extracted from it for example. What about the CDK? Etc... A well written book on Angular + CDK + Angular Material + CSS would be a godsend.

App dev isn't just about design teams. There are individuals in enterprise, small companies, and entrepreneurs who are semi-technical and need to build minimum viable products to test their markets. IT departments are often a burden to innovation and get in these folks way. (My wife knows this too well.) They need to get a functional product up and running and connected to a data source. They have time to learn basic JavaScript and TypeScript and then build a reasonably functional and secure app.
