Size does have one major weakness over being shorted. The human body remains proportionate along normal size values. So a target point increases incrementally as the body size increases. Makes causing damage to weak points just that much easier.

When you're a smaller fighter, you're required to use more speed and force to equal a larger opponent. Even use their own gravity against them.

Size does matter, but only because everything matters.

An advantage is only an advantage if it is something you can use effectively while your opponent can't.

If you fight in a way that your opponent doesn't know how to deal with effectively. Then you have an advantage.

Size can, just as easily, be a disadvantage as an advantage. It really depends on the opponent.

A fight starts when you know you are going to be in a fight. 90% of any fight is, usually, understanding what your opponent can do and what they will do, if you let them. And working a strategy that denies them their strengths. And then forcing their hand.
