Jack Eagle was my neighbor, when my family lived in the Forest Hills Gardens neighborhood of Queens, NY. He lived two houses down from us, and he was friends with my parents for years. He was an interesting fellow; funny, smart. He really hit the jackpot in commercials.

Jack Eagle's son is Ian Eagle, the sportscaster for CBS. I remember listening to Ian Eagle on WFAN radio in the early 90s.
