GnarlyFly. An Every Day Carry (EDC) fly pattern. Inspired by the Japanese patterns by Shotaro-san. This easy tie supports imitation of live insert action and has an amazing dead drift as well.
This was developed on the blue line streams in the heart of the High Country in North Carolina. Small wild trout, modest stockers and delayed harvest fish. Rainbows, browns, brookies, carp, panfish, bass, red horse and a northern banded water snake all have gotten a taste of this fully.
