Love those 80's bridesmaids' fluffy hats and equally fluffy dresses. Mick had a pretty nifty tuxedo too. Tess was so sad. She thought she had lost everything. I am glad she cheered up.

I ❤ the chemistry that Melanie Griffith & Alec Baldwin had in this -- TOTALLY believeable. In life, people do grow apart when they want different things.

Tess wanted more out of life than just Staten Island and mick didn’t. Mick felt left behind cause Tess was in college getting an education, bettering herself. Doreen was just a symptom of a relationship that should’ve ended a moon or two ago. But neither of them wanted to do the breaking up. Tess wanted to be a career woman and mick wanted a wife who would be there for him and do what he wanted.

Tess and mick grew apart. Tess realized that she outgrew mick at the wedding. Nothing wrong with that, but don’t cheat.
