Learn how to set up your new Kärcher pressure washer.

Step by step guide on how to set up your new pressure washer:
1. Connect to a mains water supply
2. Use a minimum of 7.5m of uncoiled hosepipe
3. Plug directly into a mains supply plug where possible
4. If using an extension cable make sure that there is no longer than 10m in length and is capable of carrying 10amps
5. Use a freeflow connector to connect to the machine and an aquastop connector to connect to the mains supply
6. Connect the trigger gun and machine together using the included high pressure hose
7. Make sure not to put any lances into the trigger gun
8. Hold down the trigger gun and turn on the mains water supply
9. Once you have a constant flow of water with no interruptions, you can turn the machine on
10. Connect the accessory you would like to clean with and begin cleaning

I love how the pressure washer doesn't come with ANY of the adapters needed to actually use the thing. Products should come ready to use out the box. Thanks Karcher! Arseholes.

I’m seeing mixed responses everywhere to this question but the manual is also questionable, do I use the aqua stop on the karcher or the main supply, some places are saying not to use it at all but the manual and this video both say to use one, kind of confused and don’t want to blow up a brand new pressure washer

Silly question, but do you need to close the water supply every time you're not using the pressure washer? For example after I'm done rinsing the wheels, I need to soap up the car. Do I need to turn off the tap in the garden before I rinse the body of the car with the pressure washer? Will pressure in the hose pipe build up?

The reason I ask is if I DO need to turn off the tap, I need to go to the back of the house round the side and it's rather annoying if I have to do that every time I'm not using the pressure washer

I bought the K7 six months ago used it twice now I can’t seem to get any pressure from it, I think it may be a problem with the Lance

0:20 this is where I don't understand.... I have brass connectors the one that fits to the machine has the non return valve, other side is the free flow. If i do the opposite the flow of the water stops... Please clarify, what needs to be done as I dont want to ruin my Tap or the machine.
