It should not be one size fits all deal. Schools should only reopen when its surrounding cities and itself doesn’t show signs of community spreads. Schools in hot zones should not be reopen until local spread is under control and traceable.

I watched this complete hearing on CSPAN. This is what happens when everyone in the government becomes a "Yes Man" and politicians care more about party than country. No where did this CDC Official or congressional representative ever mention that the federal government needs to allocate more funding to the states to reopen schools safely. States do not have the funding given the pandemic or the tax base given the high unemployment rates to institute the required safeguards to bring students back safely. How do you expect them to implement the same policies you're recommending without more resources? We need real comprehensive and holistic public health solutions and not lofty statements about what should be done.

Underlying conditions, The teenagers and kids in my school will NOT. FOLLOW. THESE. RULES.

I do not want to put my parents in danger, and I do not want to see them in the conditions I've seen others when this virus is met with sicknesses, especially the elders.

It is heart breaking, and I don't think I can face that truth of being the one who gave them that pain.
I know some jack asses will go on and pretend to cough, maybe even spit on things, get close on purpose, push each other in the halls and all that. I'm walking out the door. I can't deal with that if my Family are in risk. TRY TO UNDERSTAND THAT.

Headline. 12 year old straight "A" student was kicked out of school. She must now only attend online. Video footage shows passing of lunches among students. The 12 year old was banned after her second warning. Her first warning was blowing her nose and not wiping her hands in the lunch room. The 12 year old Allegedly shared her brown bag lunch with a classmate after the school wide ban was put in place. This was her second COVID19 safety offense. The 12 year old girl was saddened but is now required to attend online COVID19 safety training at home. Investigators are looking into pressing charges against the entire Taknoshit Middle School District.

this is a difference between mental well being opposed life and death. We want to open schools because kids cant see there friends and social interacting. Great but doesnt that counter what we are trying to do here? Social distance and put teachers at risk here? Life choices these people who make the decision are making here..
