حديث: ((يا ابن آدم, لا تخافنَّ من ذي سلطان، ما دام سلطاني باقيًا، وسلطاني لا ينفد أبدًا. يا ابن آدم, لا تخش من ضِيق الرزق وخزائني ملآنة، وخزائني لا تنفد أبدًا. يا ابن آدم, لا تطلب غيري وأنا لك، فإن طلبتني وجدتني، وإن فُتَّني فُتُّك وفاتك الخير كله. يا ابن آدم, خلقتك للعبادة؛ فلا تلعب، وقسمت لك رزقك؛ فلا تتعب، فإن أنت رضيتَ بما قسمتُه لك، أرحتُ قلبك وبدنك، وكنتَ عندي محمودًا، وإن لم ترض بما قسمتُه لك، فوعزتي وجلالي لأسلطنَّ عليك الدنيا؛ تركض فيها ركض الوحوش في البرية، ثم لا يكون لك منها إلا ما قسمته لك، وكنت عندي مذمومًا. يا ابن آدم, خلقت السموات السبع والأراضي السبع ولم أعيَ بخلقهن، أيُعييني رغيف عيش أسوقه لك بلا تعب؟! يا ابن آدم, إنني لم أنس مَن عصاني؛ فكيف من أطاعني، وأنا رب رحيم, وعلى كل شيء قدير. يا ابن آدم, لا تسألني رزق الغد كما لم أطلبك بعمل الغد. يا ابن آدم, أنا لك محب؛ فبحقي عليك كن لي محبًّا)).
Hadith: “O son of Adam, do not be afraid of someone with authority, as long as my authority remains, and my authority is never depleted. O son of Adam, do not fear the shortage of livelihood and my treasures are full, and my treasures are never exhausted. O son of Adam, do not seek others, and I am yours. So, if you seek me, you will find me, and if you will forget me and your death will be of best for you. O son of Adam, I created you to worship me, so do not play, I have divided your provision for you, so do not get tired. So, my honor and my majesty, I will rule the world over you. You run in it similar to the running monsters in the wilderness, then *you will have nothing of it except what I have divided for you*, and you'd blamed. O son of Adam, the seven heavens and the seven lands were created and I was not tired after their creation, would a loaf of bread that I can market to you without fatigue make me tired ?! O son of Adam, I have not forgotten those who disobeyed me; would I forget he who obeys me?!, when I am Lord is Merciful, and is able to do everything. Oh son of Adam, do not ask me for tomorrow's livelihood as I have not asked you to do tomorrow's work. O son of Adam, I love you. It is my right over you, to love me)).
Hadith Qudsi (note : this hadith doesn't exist in any of the sunna books, and it was mentioned by sheikh Sha'arawi شعراوي)

For me this naseeha from our Nabi ﷺ goes hand in hand with one of the first ayat revealed by Allah jalla jalaluhu, in Surah Al Alaq where He says something along the lines of that man goes astray when he believes himself to be self-sufficient. We have to acknowledge Who is really in control here and live our life accordingly

One other hadith that I love which trends along the same lines as this one is when the prophet pbuh said:

“Wonderful is the affairs of a believer, and this is for no one except for the believer, indeed all of his affairs are good. If good happens to him he is thankful. And if bad happens to him he is patient and thankful”

The way that Islam gives individuals impowerment even in tough times is a blessing in it of itself. Alhamdulilah. And jzk akhi for another wonderful reminder ❤️
