SCP-096 VS. SCP-173

SCP 096 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as Shy Guy.
SCP 173 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as The Sculpture.

SCP-096 is a humanoid creature measuring approximately 2.38 meters in height. Subject shows very little muscle mass, with preliminary analysis of body mass suggesting mild malnutrition. SCP096 's jaw can open to four (4) times the norm of an average human.

SCP-173 is constructed from concrete and rebar with traces of Krylon brand spray paint. SCP173 is animate and extremely hostile. The object cannot move while within a direct line of sight. Line of sight must not be broken at any time with SCP-173. Personnel assigned to enter container are instructed to alert one another before blinking. Object is reported to attack by snapping the neck at the base of the skull, or by strangulation.

I know they killed him and all anyway, but wouldn't the SCP foundation have something more secure to put on 096's head than a paper bag? You can't have your plan fail just because the bag fell off, and having the acid melt the bag could've cost them.

Dr. Dan has a point with SCP-096 being extremely dangerous and underestimated by the foundation. Unlike other threats, such as SCP-682, SCP-106, SCP-173, SCP-096 is most likely to cause an end-of-the-world scenario, or at the very least a broken masquerade scenario if damage was sufficient. One internet photo, one news story, or even one newspaper and it could all tumble downhill.

I like the bit at 3:12, where someone took a picture of 096's face, and it instantly went from being in a screaming, murderous fury, to stopping dead in its tracks to silently stare dead at the photographer as they uploaded the photo to the internet for the rest of the world to see, too. It felt as if 096 was in raw disbelief that someone just did something that brazenly stupid within just a handful of meters from it, and it had to stop and process what just happened since no one's ever pulled a move like that on it before then.

I like to think that once the photo finished uploading, 096 broke character and calmly asked the photographer in their native language something along the lines of "Are you done?" or "Was it worth it?" before quickly dispatching them and moving on to the next person on its list.

I watched this story from another SCP-related YouTube channel. Apparently, SCP-173 struggled for nearly 5 hours before it could successfully broke SCP-096’s spine, and SCP-096 could be heard screaming in pain throughout the entire process.

God, the 1st attempt at this, without the acid, there's no way that containment breach wasn't worse than described. 1 anomaly you have to look at to stop, and another where you have to look away... that's game over, just right there

A containment breach involving both 173 and 096 would be nigh impossible to recontain.
Having to constantly keep an eye on 173's whereabouts while taking 1 glimpse of 096's face means death. If they're stood next to each other, its game over
