Creating perfect foam edges and bevels with the Dremel / rotary tool can be quite tricky. So here are a few handy tips on how to become a Dremel master quickly! I tried to show you the most difficult applications, which are clean beveled edges, raised ornaments and sharp corners. In addition, I mostly work on maximum speed with fast and straight moves over my EVA foam. Really hope this video is helpful! Let me know if you have any questions!

Please take kamuis words serious regarding safety. My stepfather worked without a mask for years and suffers from asthma now. Another person had his dremel drum snapped and it would have flown right into his eye if it wasn't for his safety goggles, which stopped the projectile.

That way to dremmel the corner was mind blowing to me. It's always so hard but now I know how to approach it.

I have used a dremel for twenty years, but I still learned useful things from your sanding video. Thank you for the handy tips!

I need to leave a comment here because of how helpful this was for me. I was smoothing an EVA sword blade with my dremel, and I would run it both ways over the blade leaving me with with a complete uneven surface. As soon as I watched this video and tried out this technique, which I was skeptical about, I was surprised to see how smooth the blade had become. Thank you very much for all your videos, and keep up with the wonderful job you guys do!

HAHAHA the censor at 3:50 caught me off guard, but in all seriousness, the foam filter is a great idea. Loved the video!

That "foam piece filter" at 03:57 is actually a brilliant idea... Several small foam pieces have gone MIA that way for me.

I bought my first dremel last summer and followed your tutorial to make D.Va's light gun. 😁 I'm a complete novice still but I think this tutorial was super helpful!

I purchased my Dremel 395 type 5 back in 2003 and it is still in use today, it's one of the best pieces of kit I have ever bought, I highly recommend the brand...

I've had a Dremel for a few years now but haven't had an actual excuse to use it yet! I'm so glad to see that you can use a Dremel on the eva foam to make textures and pieces

your enthusiasm for your craft makes me smile!
it's really cool to see your techniques and the things you can do with a dremel tool. 7:44 is super interesting, it really helps visualize what's possible with all those different tips!

Thank you sooo much for showing the correct way to use dremel! I was using in the opposite direction of rotation and pressing down too hard. I gave up for half a year because I did not know what was wrong!. I start using it again and feel so much better not hand sanding for hours thanks to you!!

Thank you for the video. I had a dremel for a long time. I did had some issues with it on the foam getting those rough edges. I tried it again today for a part of my Mandulorian armor piece. Still have the problem. then i did tried the one direction before watching the video. It worked a bit. Then I decided to watch your video on how to work the dremel and see if i was doing it correctly. It is fun to have the tool. I will for sure try other tips on the scrap foams I have. Thank you so much for the Battastic videos.
