My tier list:

S tier:
Yuji:Literally has THE third strongest awakening, and the Sukuna M1s are what makes it. The singular combo that they use is also nearly impossible to escape from even if you have evasive.
Gojo:Consider this to also be Yuji. Has the second strongest awakening with all moves uncounterable. The combos are basically infinite(just like his block), you can do 1234, 4132, 3421…you get it.

A tier:
Mahito:Arguable as an S tier, but I personally think he belongs HERE. His combos are plentiful, like Gojo’s, and he has plenty of mixups like Yuji. His awakening is kinda only good, think of it as good as base Yuji. The super awakening however is most of the reason this is even a contender for top tier, due to literally just the one-shot counter.
Choso:Does tons of damage. I don’t got a lot to say about this guy since I haven’t played him much at all.
B tier:
Hakari:Base Hakari is pretty underrated honestly. Yeah, he has some of the worst damage, but you can still easily beat, say, a Choso or Mahito if you know what you’re doing. But the ultimate…it makes you just about unkillable(aside from Mahito lol), does MASSIVE damage, lasts for a century or two, and even the DOMAIN it traps you in can be great for making sure people don’t get away from you when they’re low. Absolutely broken ult.
Megumi:The lowest guy here, but it’s not like he’s BAD per se. His best usage is with good players. However, that’s why I’m rating him so low:The skill ceiling is high, but the skill **floor** is high as well. Most people I’ve seen just use Nue to run away, Toad to either run or get cheap shots while running, rabbits to either escape or use Nue to run even more and hurt the person they’re running from, and Dog is for running too, to stall the attacker. In ult, however, is when this guy apparently actually gets good. One problem however:NO ONE USES THE SWITCHING MOVESETS FEATURE. That’s what make the main ult GOOD! But no, it’s all for big raga, who we will not be discussing in this list.

TL/DR for rankings:
S Tier:Yuji and Gojo(interchangeable for top spot)
A Tier:Mahito, Choso
B Tier:Hakari, Megumi

(I’m a Mahito main btw)

I’d like to share my rankings down here, (I am assuming that the people using and fighting these are skilled however, so keep that in mind !)

S: Mahito and Hakari. Now, Mahito was already covered by daddy Popz, but a lot of people might disagree with Hakari up here. However, when you master him he’s almost untouchable. All his moves deal insane damage and when you combo them it adds up FAST. Reserve ball-shutter doors combo is great for long range because you can then close the distance, and short range of an absolute brawler with its 4th move. Not to mention its ult is easy to get even if u have a ton of people in it, as you can just use shutter doors and reserve balls without even having to engage. And then you’re basically immortal when u get jackpot, only head splitter and mahito’s domain can kill you (and Mahito is already up here in S). It’s special is also great for aggressive players and punishing, as well as being able to protect oneself from Open. And the big thing ? When u get jackpot, no matter what half ur ult bar is filled ! Meaning after just one okay-ish fight it’ll be refilled. Overall, a great character.

A: Gojo. Now, this is also going against what daddy Popz was saying but Gojo’s utility is extraordinary. Besides all its moves being damaging moves, 3/4 can hit grounded enemies. It has amazing combos and moves, and it’s a one fits all for any type of player, with no bias towards aggression or defence. With things like twofold kick landing into a rapid punches, then lapse blue and the reversal red mid air combo, it can deal insane damage. And its ult is extremely amazing because they have aerial variants which means your enemies can’t touch you. A reversal red MAX black flash then a lapse blue MAX deal absurd damage, and lapse blue MAX can crowd control an entire server. Not to mention the fact that landing an Infinite Void with only Hollow Purple available is a guaranteed kill. Overall, great but limited by its skill cap.

B: Yuji. I need a hear me out. Yuji is a great character, but once the enemy learns its moves it’s barely a challenge to attack. A Yuji struggles hard against someone who’s learnt when and where to block, as its main damage dealer and combo extended, cursed strikes, has a large wind up and requires an M1 combo beforehand to be feasible. Because Yuji has no long range moves, it heavily struggles with the characters mentioned before, as all of them have moves that can immediately fall a dashing or just standing Yuji. Its saving grace is the Black Flash from behind having no cooldown, a massive advantage for skilled Yuji players who can keep an enemy in range. Its ult is also amazing, but in reality of the situation is that if someone just blocks the only real moves they can do are the special and Rush. M1’s are block able from all sides, Domain Expansion can be easily interrupted and leaves you prone to getting combo’d, Open and World Slash (Aerial Variant because the grounded variant has the same problem as Domain Expansion only 10x worse) all take a while, so the enemy can just back up or counter then resume. Dismantle also does barely any dmg when someone is blocking. Its Domain Expansion, if it hits, is basically a guaranteed win, but all things considering it’s B for me.

B- or C ??: Megumi. Now, Megumi is my 2nd fav. But it’s kinda trash for a reason that you might not expect. It has some solid combos, all of its base kit being great, especially when you know what you’re doing. If these were all based on solely base kit, Megumi would beat Yuji and Gojo. But its ultimate IS HORRID. All the moves except Great Serpent require some sort of windup, meaning you can get easily combo’d if the opponent can just keep the distance and put on the pressure. The only feasible thing for it is the Great Serpent straight into the sky then Mahoraga the second the move ends. Now, this is basically a guaranteed summon, but the problem with Raga is that you can just… walk away. And the Raga can’t do anything because it’ll die from the lack of damage. Also if you get a nice, long combo before it can do anything. The fact that its ult is only feasible after getting Mahoraga makes no sense for the payoff when getting Raga, when a character like Hakari is literally immortal after having to do something more to get its ult. It’s still a solid character, but it falls flat in the face of other ults and its low health.

?: Choso. If we’re just on about moves, it’s a solid S for me, with Hakari and Mahito. It’s got great variants and when mastered it’s extremely good. But it literally has no ult, as of know. As of now, I can’t fairly rank it, considering that Mahito took 6 months to become the beast it is.

In the end, I’d say this ranking means nothing because these are all equal as long as the user is good. Consider the difference in tiers like 0.1 or something along that. (INoctAltIII, early access ty)

Edit: Sorry for all the grammar mistakes but this is too long to get rid of all of them 😭🙏

Honestly, megumi is one of the most op and not op characters in the game. His base for only has one block breaks 😭

I just like megumi because of his combo potential, imagine you getting jumped by teamers and you casually makes a new combo?

I got called spammer so much times I don't even care anymore, he's by far my favorite character to play, he's fun.

A good tip for the hakari domain is to do it in a house. I mean like a house next to the wall because barely anyone goes there and it looks hidden in a house. (Early access 71emi2013 or

When I first started playing jjs I used gojo all the time, his great for beginners icl. I moved onto itadori and learned a lot more about the game and now I started using hakari bc his moveset is so fun and his ult feels so niceto get, it feels like you hit a real jackpot.(SareekX is my user, early access please)

Gonna make my rating

S tier character
Gojo: his base is in my opinion is so unpredictable you can do red and R to break children’s ankles or use blue and not use r variant to follow up with a base red into twofold. His ult legit is a cheat code with his domain being a win
Next up is HAKARIII
hakari with his base is mid unless you know how to use his moves correctly like reserve balls is a combo extender so you can do a inescapable 40% and then you’re screwed without a rag doll cancel and
we both know we don’t need to talk about ult the only weakness from hakari being above Gojo is that his ult can be countered if you’re overrun
A tier
Yuji itadori his base is dumbly op but pretty predictable since we all know they will side dash and black flash his ult is what makes him the highest of A tier amazing crowd control with ez comboes and great for catching those runners
Megumi good cooldowns with versitial comboes ult is good but with swapping becomes the best not much to say he’s just pretty good
B tier
Mahito THE SAME MF COMBO EVERY TIME ult scary but predictable
That one we don’t talk about him he’s easily the best but I hate him with a passion so F tier

That’s my list
