Alvaro Morata isn’t as bad as people think he is. His stint at Chelsea made people see him as a bad player, he was trolled for his misses and the amount of times he was offside and at Atletico Madrid this season he’s formed a formidable partnership with Antoine Griezmann and he’s been scoring goals for fun something that he wasn’t consistent at. He’s never scored more than 15 league goals in a season, with him on 13 goals in La Liga, with the rate in which he’s scoring, he’ll surpass that very easily. He’s another example on how in football there’s not bad players and some people still think that Alvaro Morata is trash when in all reality he isn’t he was unlucky at Chelsea and was on a club that hasn’t seen much growth with their attacking players over the years.

The problem with Lautaro Martinez isn’t just his inconsistent form with the Argentina national team, despite having a career best season where he can’t stop scoring goals, the issue is that people don’t watch Serie A and it’s so obvious which is why people push an agenda that he’s not a world class striker due to recency bias of his performances at international level and his inability to replicate his brilliant club form for Argentina. He needs to be talked about more and should be in these Ballon Dor conversations for 2024 and what more does he have to do. He’s dominating Serie A, Inter Milan are top of the league and they’re not as bad as people think they are while their run to the champions league final, many people still see it as a fluke, this team is very good and maybe if Inter Milan go deep in the UCL final again, maybe he’ll get his due.

Even as a Juventus fan, I’ll admit that Lautaro is a class forward, too bad he’s playing for a bunch of robbers that’ll never get punished for blatantly paying refs.
