“Robert is the love of my life” enough said. She’s in a one-sided emotionally insestuous relationship with her son. I don’t agree with Dr. Phil AT ALL. Idc who the person is, if you disrespect me or my family, it’s a WRAP. Just b/c you hold the role of my mom doesn’t give you license to disrespect me without any consequence. They don’t need to have children until they get the boundaries with the MIL in check.

My first marriage was similar and my mother in law disliked me so much that she compared my new born to an abstract statue of a human being on my shelf. The statue was not pretty and someone with a heart would not compare a newborn to that statue. Shocking…. Our marriage lasted 12yrs and in that time she was always unpleasant.
