What is a barred spiral galaxy and how are they different from elliptical and normal spiral galaxies?
Barred spiral galaxies share common features with normal spiral galaxies. They have a disc like structure with spiral arms, similar gas content and star formation. However, they have a bar like structure which extends from the central bulge to the spirals. The bar funnels gas towards the central bulge and black hole. This causes the central bulge in bar galaxies to undergo star formation, which does not occur in the classical spherical bulge due to a lack of gas.

But one thing how can take the video or photo of milky way galaxy if we are inside it and it takes so long to escape from it … given that it is 25, 000 light years from galactic centre
