Social media plays a big part in driving fashion trends and there are some very cool fashion trends that seem to be taking over the internet right now so today I wanted to feature a few of my favourites. I am 63 and the trend that excites me the most are barrel leg pants and jeans. Really want to get my hands on some of these😊

As a 55yo petite gal, so glad to see dark wash denim in. However, there are no barrel leg pants that are proportioned for smaller/shorter frames. Being 5'3" inches would choose capris just above the ankle

The backless trend in both tops and dresses is bumming me out a little. It cuts out at least half of the items being sold for me. There are a lot of women who cannot go braless for various reasons. As I’m shopping for clothes for the warmer months right now it seems like most of the time I see something I like online, I have to click the product shot and try to find a picture of the back and sure enough that shirt or dress is not an option.

Although I'm excited about all these trends, I'm particularly thrilled about the Silver Jewellery Trend because I've always been a silver jewellery enthusiast. To be honest, I never stopped wearing it.

The straight leg dark jeans are so flattering. I just think the baggy, loose pants are intensely unflattering. Hopefully next year they expire.

As soon as you showed those sneakers I recognized them from the 70s immediately. Most of the jocks at my high school wore them & it was the first time sneakers were multi-colored or colorful that I can remember (outside of basic canvas Keds that also came in navy & red ) I wasn't even aware they were Adiddas at the time. Didn't have the brand recognition it does now.

Cool color girl here. I only wear silver or white gold. Live dark denim and black denim which I lived in all winter. No bubble hems, open backs, or balloon jeans. I do live wide leg, not baggy.

I discovered and love the barrel shape on pants! Being rectangular in shape, I find it gives me a shapelier, flattering look. Bubble hemlines have popped in and out of fashion for years now but, unsurprisingly, never seem to stick around for long. As you mentioned, the backless tops are not practical in terms of being able to wear a bra, nor are the tops that tie in the front, exposing skin between the ties, so I won't be sporting either of those trends! First and foremost, congrats on your new launch 🙌🙌🙌….Wow I think I am in a good space in my style, cause none of these trends really attracts me😳🤪. Well one I really like, the open back, and Phoebe Philo has very nice versatile top, with open back ( one of options), and if I would be in my 30’s, I would definitely get it, but my husband will not go for it😳😱, but also I, don’t really want/ need that wrong attention( I can’t believe, that the day came, that I just don’t feel like wearing cropped tops, or too exposed clothes, even form fitting dresses, I kind of moving on from those too. Just sold my Chanel ones from Greece collection. 🤔😳, I am between two styles, very lady like old Chanel ( Karl’s era ) dresses and more edgy fashion. Obsessed with Old Celine archives and Phoebe P new brand. Oh so a few these trends I like. I never care for silver jewelry( I am very allergic) Plus I am warm skin tone, so warmer colors always looks better on me. But just recently purchased vintage Gucci Jackie bag with silver hardware, and wow I never realized how more interesting/ edgier silver looks. So now I am looking for big silver color earrings. Never liked animal print, but surprise, just purchased boa snake print top and dress from Old Celine PP archives. Omg who am I ? lol 😜 Have a blessed day🙏❤️
