Donald Duck used the most powerful magic attack in Square Enix ever. Full stop. The only other person to perform that spell was possessed by a multi dimensional world eating god, but Donald performed it on his own, making him canonically the most powerful magic user ever.

Edit: it took 4 years but Donald has been matched! Bahamut has finally cast the spell in a canon appearance, meaning Donald is no longer the only magic user to perform this spell alone! Additionally, it was cast on the character Ifrit Risen, who fucking resisted it, a feat even more impressive.

I really like GOOFY’s yelling “DONALD DON’T” here because it implies both that Donald has done this move years before and probably had a really tough recovery, and that Goofy and Donald have been serving together for a long enough time that Goofy was there for all of that. Probably in his earlier days as court wizard or something. It deepens their backstory a good bit.
