One of the things that not talked about often, and I think one of the things holding tennis back from being even more popular, is the poor media coverage. The quality on this video is terrible, it’s extremely choppy and just doesn’t look natural. Outside of the 4 majors, often times all the other tournaments will have poor camera angles, poor video quality, poor sound quality, and just will seem low budget entirely. Especially the matches outside the main courts. I know media rights play a part but outside of the majors tennis seems to be far behind. Even for some great major matches you’ll be lucky to find highlights over 3 mins long anywhere.
