Показать описание
Third Audion issue after the relaunch. This video documents the pdf download edition.
Audion 61 contents...
Ange: a fantastic first decade, Wolfgang Dauner's Krautrock era, Time Of Commotion, Gruppo Di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza, Ståle Storløkken interview, Suspirium (part 2), Tangerine Dream - In Search Of Hades, Auricle reissues: Poultry Products, Bureau B, Cuneiform, DiN, new International fusion discoveries, 10 greatest sitar albums of 1960s/70s, Sounds like Zeuhl, Head In The Clouds, etc.
Editorial...
Now both catching-up and trying to keep Audion "actual", this new issue has another diverse selection of new releases, reissues, and all sorts of articles exploring music over the past 6 decades. On the cover you'll find the Norwegian keyboard wiz Ståle Storløkken, best-known to us with the phenomenal Elephant9, and the first ever interview in an English publication to my knowledge. Other articles here include a long overdue examination of the French prog legend Ange, a look at the most innovative era of German jazz pianist Wolfgang Dauner, a big dip into the weird avant-garde of Gruppo Di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza, and much much more. There's also another of those pet projects in the form of a round-up of obscure fusion albums. If you tally all the reviews up it's quite a mind-boggling number of releases to investigate.
A printed edition was also published in 2024.
