This video is about Valery Sablin, the madman who wanted nothing more than to change things for the better, paying the iron price in the process. If only more shared his drive and conviction, perhaps the world would be a different place.

The final letter to his child...what a man.

I can't help but respect his bravery even if his plan was basically doomed from the start.

Considering how "speaking your mind" ends in Russia, its a miracle he lived past 16.

Poor man. Was to based to live in this world.

Bro literally went and sent: "Mr. Khuruchev please step down and let me lead the Soviet Union" and didn't get killed for that, absolute gigachad.

One of the upsides of TNO is introducing me to really good Russian music

I think his rebellion could have work if he had a nuclear power sub or if he had more conspirators ?

Pros of playing TNO: fuels my undying interest in Cold War Politics, WW2 figure heads in the Nazis and Soviet army, the ideologies of all side, the people behind these ideologies and learning about history by making me interested by the people featured in the mod (Yockey, Rockwell, Werbell, Sablin, Yazov and so much more. Add KR with Huey Long)

Cons of playing TNO: Every fucking time I search anything about Nazis, the Waffen-SS or Himmler and I see that fucking Black Sun insigna, guess what I'm thinking. Can't enjoys WW2 games anymore because THAT THE THING IN THE GAME". The mod is basically nightmare fuel and has a bad tendency of exaggerating the personalities of a lot of the major character in the mod (see the funni clock guy or Yazov. Not Werbell tho. He's perfect. All hail Ingram Mac-10 Suppressors). And the community is... eeeeh... listen when I go there with a super neutral and objective view of politics, its hard to find people who see the mod as what it is: a game about a fictional Cold War. Not a way to promote any political views or argue them.

If Sablin poops, I flush
If Sablin sneeze, I bless him
If Sablin fart, I inhale
When Sablin points, I look.
When Sablin speaks, I listen
When Sablin commands, I obey

If Sablin have millions supporter, I'm one of them
If Sablin have 5 supporter, I'm one of them
If Sablin have 1 supporter, That person is me
If Sablin have no supporter, I'm no longer alive
If the world is against Sablin, I'm against the whole world
Till my last breath, I stand with Sablin

This is one of the most based historical figures I’ve ever heard of

When Armstrong speech started I have started to imagine Sablin built like Armstrong arguing with some KGB operative that looks like Ocelot/Gurlukovich and Raiden mixed about politics while both of them standing on destroyer deck

Im shocked how you only have 1.54K subscribers, you deserve at least 200K, the fact your videos only have 1K-5K views is astonishing, as your quality and content is so amazing, you are truley a hidden gem of youtube

Wow, that last letter. Really hit me in the feels. He was right too, history judged him as a good man who lived in a corrupt system and gave his life trying to change it.

If only he was alive during the collapse of the soviet union things could have went differently.

When the USSR dissolved most people regretted it due to how things got worse, so had he been around then he could have actually achieved his dream.
