Would love to see a real old-school trucker doing the review, going through the full sequence: driving his actual rig, unloading the trailer, switching to the tesla semi, loading the trailer, driving through a weigh station, driving to a delivery point, etc.

I love how it doesn't matter what vehicle Jay drives, he can't keep it in the lane.

I really like how Jay is able to enjoy them all. It doesn't matter if it's steam, gas, diesel, or electric.

41:15 - This is exactly why I like to watch Leno's reviews. He just has so much knowledge about car history that you learn always something totally unexpected.

Tesla has provided more information in this video about the semi truck than anywhere else even their website doesn't share this amount of information. Thanks Jay Leno for asking very needed questions

Jay a solid meter to the left connstantly, whilt the Tesla rep is praising him for "nailing the center drive position" is pure gold

I love how the Tesla designer is telling Jay how he's nailing keeping the truck centered. Meanwhile the camera man is showing Jay hugging 2 lanes and driving over the white line😅

As a young former driver (28), I could see many ppl near my age being open to driving these. I love the suicide door. Love the tech and cameras. My only thought is, I would love for Tesla or someone to make accompanying trailers & reefers that would be outfitted with cameras. And possibly outfitted with an automated lift when hooking and unhooking. Then another thought comes to mind of moving your tandems.

jay is the real deal.. seems like he can relate to almost anybody... plus he has the ability to listen to a long answer and has no need to interrupt to try to show us how smart he is.. he is willing to learn...

That cracked me up when he hooked up to the trailer. That'd be a huge selling point if you could stay in the truck while the pit crew hookup team handled everything. They came out of the shrubs like little fairies 😂

When Jay test drives something I feel like I was right there. The humor was lowballed when he just sits in in the throne while the swampers are setting a world record for hooking up a trailer, like oh thats normal lol. And he always asks the questions that the average guy like me would.
Thanks Jay Thank you very much Tesla.

1:27 Funny how “Dan” stayed on script and didn’t answer J’s question about weight. 😂😂😂😂

I sincerely respect the fact that both the Chief Designer and the Senior Manager of Engineering hook up and disconnect the trailer with their own hands.

Jay is really good at asking good questions, one after the other, appropriate nuance, topics, and lets the guys answer as deep as they would like to go

Jay is one of those men that will be so missed when he goes. He’s one of the few Hollywood people I would like to meet.

I've never driven a semi and I don't see any reason why I would in my lifetime. Still, this drew me in for 43 minutes. Good job.

I think having Jay Leno's opinion and him testing these guys like a car guru and he's asking all the right questions and bringing up all the right points 100%. What an informative and valuable video

Having driven over 40 years in tractor-trailers, this was a real eye opener. If only for time, this unit could of added years to my career and added even more million miles of safe driving. This is a day-cab made in heaven ...

Having driven trucks, daycabs, and longhaul sleeper setups, I'm really enamored with this truck. I wish the daycabs I drove had that much room inside. Most have so little space that you can't change your mind. I honestly can't wait to see the sleeper version...
