I wish it was the imperium that found rylanor then again what would they have done with him?

In the history of the imperium in 40k the sacrifice of the loyalists on istvaan 3 is glossed over if not forgotten completely compared to the infamy of the the drop site massacre.

The fact that there was any loyalists in the traitor legions and that they bravely fought and delayed the armies of the warmaster for several month is rather a inconvenient truth for the modern imperium. There is honor in the bloodlines of traitors if only gulliman could see that.
