Another fun fact: He actually died from being shot in the a*s by his son, Sven Tveskæg, while there was apparently a “Pause” in the war, (Sven thought his dad was getting old and so was the people. So he started war with his father for him to die so he could be king. Brutal. But that was life hack then),

Basically Sven and his “little” army snuck up while he was starting a fire, he was on all fours and boom. Shot in the a*s.

Basically some Poppo dude from Germany said, “HEY, THERES THIS DUDE CALLED JESUS!” (Not literally but anyways, and Harald said, “Hold this burning metal stick and I’ll believe you.” Basically it was a way to see if someone was lying, so the blacksmith gave the Poppo dude this red burning metal stick and he just held it. And then everyone became Christian, or they died.
