Iv had 2 Chinese diesel heaters. Each cost very little. We have lives in -0⁰c temps and lived off them. Allways work perfectly. 2 years and still going perfect. All iv heard about webasto is they have issue after expensive to fix issue.

I need it now and it’s not working on brand new truck, even in on my few previous trucks didn’t work properly and had some problems always

The webasto on my 2018 cascadia has never work properly. it turns on at high temperatures only, . it shows these codes f15 f11. many rough nights, not even Freightliner can fix this.

Does it use less fuel than the Chinese version?

Every time it is turned on and off, it needs a lot of electricity, and if I set it low and gentle .. until it restarts four or five times in the morning .. the battery does not have the power to start.

My heater works well .... but I have two problems .. we do not have Euro 4 diesel here in Iran and I pour oil instead and the part that heats up and evaporates the fuel, very soon, gets dirty and It does not work!

My 2018 never worked properly either. Heats up, and instantly cools right back to original temp. Too much exhaust smoke. NOT a reliable product.

Id rather buy 9 Chinese diesel heaters than 1 Webasto with my money

Well, for under 100 bucks you get a Chinese one that does the same and lasts as long.

This thing is an expensive piece of junk I’m constantly having problems with it and was a waste of money I spent. I’m freezing my ass off and I can’t get the damn thing to stay lit. It’s a big piece of junk

These things are overpriced, unreliable, hi maintenance that for the most part should be avoided...go get one n when u needed it will fail n you willhave to spend a fortune to get it fixed....ive had 3 trucks with this heaters n they never worked when i needed....i wouldn't recommend it for anyone....if u hate to idle youre better off with an electric blanket or a hi quality sleeping bag..
Or both...
