Hey fellow crocheters and welcome back to another tutorial! In today's tutorial, I'll show you guys how to work a really simple and beginner friendly cable stitch pattern. Hope you all enjoy and found this video helpful!

5.00mm. or H crochet hook
Any category 4 or Medium yarn

Pattern:

6 front post dc

6 back post dc

Skip 3, treble into the 4, 5 and 6, then back into 1, 2 and 3

6 back post dc

6 front post dc

Skip 3, treble in back post of 4, 5 and 6, then back into 1, 2 and 3

Then just repeat

Dear Anne, thank you for posting this video. My daughter only liked your pattern of the many patterns we saw on YouTube so I finished one sock but in the end the cable stitch didn't come the way you did. So I am trying to do the other one, only hoping the cable stitch comes out exactly like yours.

11:40 I have been looking at different written manuals how to do cable pattern and the one I did a mock-up piece with relied heavily on hdc and basically skipping rows. I'm so glad I found your tutorial which doesn't "waste" as much yarn <3
