I love them both for different reasons.

Claude is an amazing writer with a great personality--nice to interact with. ChatGPT allows for longer chats without the limitations I find with Claude (and I'm actually on the pro plan). I get the warnings frequently (Long chats cause you to max out...etc.).

Yesterday, I tried ChatGPT's voice feature and was blown away. I was asking some complex Qs re: apps, prompts and knowledge bases and it was giving me long answers that were excellent.

I'm almost tempted to pay for ChatGPT again. :)

I paid for Claude for months. I wasn’t getting decent information on a subject I was researching. A coworker suggested I try chatGPT. The depth of information wasn’t comparable. Also, the writing from Claude was very monotonous no matter how *personal I worked for it to be. ChatGPT has completely warped to an advisor or in moments “best friend advice”

Definitely important to pick well ... but also test frequently and create a system where you can ideally switch out the generative AI engine you use if another one is better.

I'm an English teacher and I prefer Claude for writing stories. But I recently have had a couple of medical issues, not serious enough to go to a doctor but serious enough. ChatGPT was the winner and it wasn't even close.

I love the comparisons made. I feel chat gpt shines on accuracy and also when making web based searches compared to Claude. When it comes to writing, I feel Claude takes the mantle as it has more of a personalized touch. Much appreciation for the video.

Missed some stuff, like ask Claude to diagram or translate a speciation into a workflow. Its rare for me to hit it's limits but you can go down a model smarts if you need something. You are right about the limits, image, and search. I'm not sure what's up with that.

I use both chatgpt and claude and sonnet gives way better result than o1!! But o3 stomps claude.

But o3 is already a reasoning model and its close. So i am so so so looking forward for claude next release of reasoning mods

Yes, the time limit is a problem. I got to a stage in Claude where I could not continue with my project.... don't have that issue with ChatGpt ... not yet ...

As a programmer and an app developer i find claude to be the best model there is …90% of my work i give it to Ai for generation ..chatgpt is just too advanced but with my experience on both, advanced doesnt mean good its just a word of access to higher info… Claude is really good wait until they add the reasoning and deep search and you compare these models

For anyone doing Academic research, ClaudeAI is an absolute failure. One can barely upload three PDFs, and the Chat feature restricts one's ability to complete the task. Opening new chats every two minutes or just being barred from continuing or asked to wait for 5 hours to continue the chat is RIDICULOUS.
