Kursk & Belgorod | Russia! The Other Way

World War 2 history is taught in virtually all schools throughout the world. In western countries we focus mostly on the Battle of Britain, D-Day & the Normandy Landings plus the horrors of the concentration camps. Little space in textbooks is given to what happened on the eastern front, apart from perhaps the Battle of Stalingrad and the siege of Leningrad.
Until I came to Russia, I had never even heard of Kursk, let alone the epic tank battle which took place nearby.
