Building a Voron Afterburner for Ender 3 v2: printed parts and parts sourcing
Показать описание
Things you need to build a Voron Afterburner for Ender 3 v2
1. Printed parts (almost free if you print by yourself)
2. A slim (20mm) step motor (around AU$16.00). You may still use the stock extruder motor if you don't worried about the decreased build height and you also need to cut out the shaft around 2-3mm
3. BMG Extruder internal parts or a BMG Extruder (around AU$30.00)
4. Required Screws and Nuts Kit (less than AU$7)
5. 4020 24v blower Fan (part cooling) The Stock 4010 blower does not work
6. 4010 24v DC Fan (hot end cooling). You may still use the stock fan if noise is not problem to you :)
**Afterburner mounting plate for Ender 3 v2**
!!!They don't fit my ender3 v2 plate very well, I have to use a drill to open some holes...
Other alternatives:
**Extruder**
**Blower housing (aka, print cooling fan duct)**
**Printhead (hot end mount) for Ender 3 v2 stock hot end**
This is designed for Ender 5, but you can still use it for ender 3 v2, because both the Ender 3 V2 and the Ender 5 come equipped with a standard Creality hot end.
**Hot end cooling fan mount**
**BL touch mount**
**BMG Extruder internal parts**
Alternatively you can use parts from any BMG Extruder clones
**Screws and Nuts Kit**
Plus M3x10 (2) M3x6 (1)
**Nema 17 stepper motor (20mm)**
