This shit saved my life a few days ago when the truck behind me wasn't paying attention when we were coming up onto a traffic jam.
as per usual i turn on my hazards a bit before braking to inform traffic on the highway behind me that we will be coming to a (almost) full stop.
i saw the truck coming in my mirrors without slowing down until the last few seconds, he still ended up tapping my trailer but only slightly with no structural damage.

If not for this system he would've pushed that trailer straight through the back and cabin of my work van.

Thanks Volvo for saving my life.

really like the new features of the new FH model but damn now i hate other inexperienced road users more, had a car pull in front of me way too close so the emergency brake immediately activated and stopped my truck on the highway. it caused the truck behind me to hit my trailer

They don’t mention the constant beeping when driving in heavy traffic and the poor lane departure system that detects tar lines all day long. It loves to shut the radio off for all this nonsense also.

My mother had to constantly tidy up her cabin in the middle of the motorway because of the emergency brake assist because someone has to think about pulling in front of two Volvos at 60 km/h that are driving at 90 km/h thanks to the emergency assist from Volvo❤🇸🇪
