Oprah Winfrey’s two-hour interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a lot of waves when it aired on March 7, 2021.

One of the most shocking moments in the sit-down happened when Markle discussed why the royal family decided not to make her son Archie a prince, which meant he would not receive security detail. When Oprah asked if the royal family had mixed feelings about Archie because of his race, Markle confirmed this, saying that one person had asked questions about what color his skin would be.

My brother and I are mixed and we both have white partners. When my brothers girlfriend was pregnant we all talked about how dark their kid could be and my husband and I talked about how dark our kids skin could be. There was no racism involved it's just a normal conversation when you are a mixed couple and choose to have kids.

We have 5 mixed kids - and even to this day, we will talk about skin colour as they are all different shades. There is not an inch of "racism" in this for us, it is simply that our kids range from light to dark and as a family we talk about it in the same way as being taller, shorter or having straight, curly hair etc. To us these are gifts not bad things. All parents and relatives wonder what newborn children are going to look like .

Winfrey's supposed "interview" was disgraceful. 21 provable lies in that interview. If she'd have done her research she could have edited things out if she desired. i think she wanted to bring up the race issue. The Royals are direct descendants of the black queen, queen charlotte and proud of it. The issues with Harry's wife was due to her lack of character and respect for the British and Royal culture. As to her acting, the royals didn't say she needed to act, they stated if she wanted to act they would work to open doors for her. The Royals bent over backwards for this couple who are willing to throw the family under the bus for fame and fortune. As to the comment about color, I personally doubt it ever came up and this was Harry's wife trying to frame the Royals since she couldn't control and manipulate them. From the moment she became part of the family, she was building a story that would sell to the press if she decided to leave.
