Mfer charged me $2300 to do both mine on my 99 Silverado 1500. And my transfer case was in need of a rebuild. 238k miles . Motor like a new born .

95 k1500 my rear diff lasted about 230k it did however took a lot of abuse. Was a overload cattle hauling farm truck then abused by my grandma as a mudding truck. I abuse it by drifting but funny enough it gave out doing a dump run. R.I.P G80

Mine broke off where the bearing sits on the carrier the other day wasnt even abusing it like i normally do was driving down the interstate went to get off my exit heard it whining i immediately knew it wasnt gonna be a good day at work

Sorry ass 10 bolts lol, probably had oversized tires on it. Chevy never could build a rear differential
