Italians have all the right to complain about coffee. The best coffee I have ever tasted was made by an Italian friend of mine and this year I visited Italy in January and, again, coffee was heavenly.

In Colombia, we have good coffee (the grain) but don't know how to prepare it. I like the one I make at home, but hardly what I get at a café. It doesn't matter if it's a local shop or a big chain, it tastes horrible.

Ok, but this is accurate. I was skiing in Chamonix a few years ago and on the french side everything was from a super automatic machine. Skied on the Italian side one day and the coffee was real espresso from a machine. Amazing!
