I’d like to see a dynamic return to home point - like ‘return to controller’ - so that it will land at the boat, or destination, instead of trying to go back to the original launch point. Do you know if the ‘auto land if GPS signal is lost’ has been addressed? I don’t want it auto landing on water or trees.

I still prefer the DJI mavic 2 pro because this is too heavy, the battery is not that efficient.

Totally agree on the controller. I to am a pincher and it drives me bat shit crazy when the arms fold in on me. They have added OA on/off, AE lock/unlock, pitch set 0/90 deg, and Map view/ Camera view to the assignable A/B buttons go to remote control then remote control customizable buttons. Hope this helps someone. I am having an issue while doing hyper lapse in aperture priority. For some reason it follows the sun and then tilts my horizon. Lol funny now, but not after I froze my ass off for a hyper-lapse sunset.
I wish there was a way to save a couple different profiles so you could get to camera and flight settings the way you like it for different situations. I think you could dial it in quicker and better every time that way.

Pano mode would be nice. I just ordered mine. I can’t take it with DJI’s NFZs😡.

Hi, back buttons have four options since latest firmware update, I use SUGRU around the buttons to stop accidentally pressing them, also around the Vid Record as I was always turning it on and off... Roll the SUGRU like a sausage as you did with plasticine when you were a kid, 3 to 4mm thick and lay it and press it around the button edge.. works a treat... my hate is that the EVO 2 controller will work with the 2 and the Evo 1 but the EVO 1 controller only works with the EVO 1 and not the 2, so you dont even have a back up if needed, assuming you have both of course... To hold the controller I use a laptop bag shoulder strap, the clips will fit into the end of the handles, between the two sides with a bit of gentle persuasion, once in place and around your neck it tends to keep the handles open as well, two benefits for price of one... Great Video bro. Yes agree. New RC. They DID give the "A" and "B" buttons some functions but nothing great really. Yes the screen is great but needs to be brighter. EXP and Sensitivity settings are good but not perfect yet. I believe the 34mp/h were taken away because it wasn't be able to justify proper stoppage with the sensors which were toned down a bit with updates. Yes color science is terrible in Logs. I also would like to add "More Intelligent Flight modes" to your wishlist. The given modes are very basic and could improve or have something way better than what is given now example would be like dolly mode. Also a smoother zoom and gimbal tilt would be in order. Hey man, Autel is up to something with the EVO 2. There are a couple of entries on the FCC Grant ID database (one as recently as today, the 20th), that seem to point to something to do with both the controller and the drone. Fingers crossed!

THANK YOU SHARING ABOUT THIS DRONE. MY ONLY BIG COMPLAINT SO FAR WITH MY NEW 30 DAY DRONE CONTROL IS THIS CRAPPY INTERNAL COOLING FAN. NOISEY AS HELL. I SENT THIS BACK. ALOT OF MONEY FOR THIS SHIT. DRONE WORKED GREAT. VERY EXPENSIVE FOR THIS! EXCELLENT DISPLAY AND INFO FROM YOU, MY DJI ARE MUCH BETTER SEEING THIS.

EVO 2 has poor dynamic range under the daylight. The dark parts of the picture are overly dark with poor clarity.

2. 10bit in 6k
3. Manual camera control when using HDR. It’s set to auto in 4k.

I was hoping Autel might release an update to the EVO II Pro at CES, or at least have some announcement regarding how they expect to handle Remote ID. I'm looking at an EVO II PRo 6K for my primary real estate drone work (and relegating my DJI M2P to backup status), but I'm holding off until I can get an idea of what's coming up. What do you think? Will Autel be releasing any time soon an updated EVO II Pro that incorporates remote ID, or should I just pull the trigger on one and wait for an add-on module? I won't have much commercial work until mid-spring (I live in upstate NY), so I have some time....Thanks for any opinions or advice you might be able to offer. P.S. I'm also hoping for a new controller! ;-)

The ability to take RAW still images in any of the Missions would be a good start plus the ability to record video in either the Rectangle or Polygon Missions.
