The Solar system seen from Hubble Space Telescope.

Buy my new T shirts or Hoodies celebrating the launch of the James Webb Space Telescope.

With all the boredom due to everything closing down because of the virus I want to do some astrophotography. The problem is, that it is forever cloudy. My telescope does not deal with clouds and rain very well. I have made a video with some of my favorite solar system images taken from the Hubble Space Telescope. Hopefully we still have hubble around for a few more years while we wait for the James Webb Telescope to be launched. Enjoy the pictures of Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Uranus and Neptune taken with this amazing piece of equipment.

Imagine if they made hand-held telescopes that has the power of Hubble Space Telescope. that be so sick, I would literally be able to watch the skies for hours.

I love studying about space, I'm not joking about this, I'm serious. I don't know why but I once said to a girl, "I love Uranus more than anything." And she slapped me in public...

Thank you! Very cool demonstration of how we can photograph our beautiful solar system.

I expected to see much clearer images of neptune and pluto. It will be interesting to see the images that James sends back of these two outer planets.

Interestingly, despite its 2.4m primary mirror and lack of atmospheric distortion, HST still struggles to take pictures from distant planets and their satellites.
Thanks to adaptive optics and larger mirrors (10-30 meters), many ground based telescopes do much better right now.

Awesome video, the planets astound me, my brain & my being. What sucks is the overlay videos that either YouTube adds in before the video ends & covers up 75% of the screen. So the final picture was a glimpse until other videos popped in

The space is much of an artistic feature for us to take pictures of it.
