Many people don't realize that 200 rating difference at this level is pretty big, especially when his opponent has a title (Candidate Master). Hell my self is a 1600, when I beat a guy with rating 1750+ it felt so good, it's not an everyday achievement.

Did you intend to lose the pawn at the beginning? Or was Rad8 simply just supposed to suggest a Queen for Two rooks? That was genius to divert the Queen to sacrifice the pawn though, even if it was unintentional

Bro, I really want to reach at least 2000 elo but it's not that easy tbh, I'm 1400 rated player and started to play chess seriously like 6 months ago, so I think I'm doing good but I sometimes feel it's impossible

For those who didn’t see it, if the king moved up to either (h, 1) or (g, 1) he would be out of check. But then the black queen would move to (e, 1). so the king is stuck if he goes down the rook will kill him. And the queen is threatening checkmate.
