Five Solas or Five Sines? Calvinism Exposed!

Calvinist frequently boast of the Five Solas as features of their Calvinistic philosophical system. However, further investigation reveals that Calvinism not only opposes the Five Solas, but based on what their system actually teaches, they should be calling them the Five Sines (See-nays). Sola means "only" in Latin. Sine means "without" in Latin.

Having been initially a student of John Piper, John MacArthur, R.C Sproul, James White, Paul Washer and others, my understanding of Calvinism is accurate.

Calvinism is a strong spirit of error, and I go so much as far, as to label their systematic as *Satans Trojan Horse.*

The story of the Trojan Horse is first mentioned in the Odyssey, describing how Greek soldiers were able to take the city of Troy after a fruitless 10 year siege by hiding a giant, wooden horse with a hidden *select force within, * leaving it as an offering to the goddess Athena.

The Greeks pretended to sail away, and the Trojans pulled the horse into their city as a victory trophy.

That night, the Greek force crept out of the horse and opened the gates for the rest of the Greek army, which had sailed back under the cloak of night.

The Greeks then entered and *destroyed the city of Troy from within.*

Calvinisits today, have infiltrated the *Body of Christ.*

They secretly preach their Calvinism to the naive *within the Church body, * destroying their belief in The Word of God *by teaching wrongly specific passages, * so *AS IF* to promote their systematic and philosophical belief of Compatibilism, under the guise of *'Sovereignty of God'.*

They are very deceptive, and have their private definitions, so as if to appear to teach what you believe, while believing entirely different.

That was excellent! I was a former Calvinistic thinker, only because I was lead to believe that it was the only one out of the then known two theological positions that taught Eternal Security. On the surface when you assume this assumption the verses seem to say exactly what their position is. I'm no longer a Calvinistic thinker. I have since learned from some very good sources to question the assumptions and to rethink Scripture and allow the Lord to speak for Himself thru His Written Word. I was one of these people who had not known Tulip until much later, and then finding out that God actually chooses some for hell was AWFUL!! for my mind to process, and then some believe that babies actually go to hell since they are born into sin, I literally kicked a lady out of my house who was wanting to disciple me. I Screamed!! God is JUST!!! He would NEVER send an innocent baby to hell.  Praise God!!!! for the TRUTH!!! for The TRUTH is HIS SON!! and HIS TRUTH, God's WORD will literally set your mind, soul, spirit FREE!!! from the bondage of stinkin thinkin!! God's word is indeed a Sword that will cut away truth from Error. Thank YOU!! really enjoyed the Exposure!!!

A memory popped into my head while listening to this. My pastor once quipped that the mother of Matthew Henry, the great biblical expositor, once said to him, "You know Matthew, the Bible sure sheds a lot of light on your commentary."

The memory arose while I was thinking about the complexity of Calvinistic theology and not as a result of Kevin's exposition critiquing it.

Thank you so much for this video. I found this church and they teach reformed theology. I didn't know much about it. I have been researching and listening the the pastor's sermons. Now, the Holy Spirit has made clear what I have been sending all along but just couldn't put it into you so much my brother in Christ...keep doing what your doing. How can faith be considered a work when Ephesians 2:8, 9 says we are save by grace through faith and it's not of works??? It's probably one of the 10 most well-known passages in the New Testament.

Can you do a video explaining simply and clearly why Calvinists are modern day Gnostics? That would be useful. (And I have seen Jesse Morrell's documentary about Augustine) Maybe this would alert more people who do not know much about theology!

Sorry if this has been covered, but I was just watching this again and it occurred to me that, in typical Calvinist fashion, their own terminology is self-refuting.

If the claim is that God alone does the saving, why then do they go beyond the one "alone" in adding 4 more "alones"?

See there, "alones" isn't even a word!

"Alone" is not "alone" if there is more than one "alone".

In stating their claims they ALWAYS go too far into the illogical.

The 5 Solas, and TULIP for that matter, can be shown to be nonsensical without even cracking a bible.

And they say it is WE who are the "natural" (think with the "lower"mind), man. Rofl 🤣

Sola Scriptura, encorporates all other (unnecessary) Solas. We need no other, additional Solas.
Scripture reveals what constitutes salvation. This means that faith, grace, justification, repentance, glory, etc., etc., etc., is all explicitly explained in Scripture.
So many debates would end if Christians READ scripture, rather than accepting the teaching of others.

My exposure to calvinism actually caused me to panic over whether or not I was saved. It is an evil philosophy designed to allow people to gate keep who can come and who can't, as well as removing responsibility from the individual.
