Ragnar doesn't love Aslaug, he loves Lagertha, otherwise he wouldn't have cried when she left him. He knows he hurt her deeply, you can see it in his eyes when he speaks with her, you can see his love for her. Aslaug will never attain the love Ragnar has for Lagertha plain and simple fact.

Can't understand the comments about Ragnar being the worst man ever? During these times having many children was the norm to survive the plagues and ensure that your families name or house can have a future. lagetha had several miscarriages and deaths already so for Ragnar iam sure it's a tough and obviously doesn't love the other woman however to ensure his title as earl he will need many sons to have a higher chance of a successor. A modern day woman cannot understand this mindset but back then I am sure everything was on the table in those tough times. Ragnar was a warrior and great man and saved his family's life many times.
