This is called a leakdown test. You do NOT “see how much pressure it takes”, as you’re definetly going to bust a seal. You pump it up to a target pressure; if it leaks it fails.

Again, if you max out the pressure you’re going to destroy seals!!!!

CPU-Z can read your barometer sensor. If you squeeze your phone and it has a good seal, the pressure will go up and you can see this spike in hPa.

Even if it was water resistant, this will ruin the seal and water resistance. It creates too much pressure inside the phone, don’t use it on a never repaired or new device.

the most appropriate way to check it is to suck the air out..

That's why I like android... we have a water-resistant tester app.. and it calculates the phone pressure when you push down on the screen. I have got two phones, one is new and the other has been repaired. So that showed me how new perfect the app is
