Very beautiful playing. Rare as well to hear a Tarrega performance which so closely respects the letter and spirit of the score!

It's in a slow simple piece like this that you really witness the musicianship of the artist. Mr. Redzic is an A to Z artist: complete technical command bit with the conveyance of a musical idea and a mood or feeling as his primary goal. The singing quality and legato here are extraordinary. Whether it's a highly complex piece or a simple one such as this, the quality of his musicianship is always the same (like a Midas musical touch). I also love his broad repertoire and though I feel he has the deepest afinity with Bach, every piece he plays is a powerful statement: it's as if after hearing Sanel play the piece most other renditions just fall short. I think by now we have come to hear the "Redzic sound" just as we know the Bream or Segovia or the sound of those other masters. What is amazing is that his musical personality is so strong that he readily stands out even among the host of so many talented players these days. Perhaps in the future, he may play an 8-string instrument: at any rate, more strings wouldn't mean more musicality just some expanded sound possibilities. But as it stands, his guitar sound surely must be one of the most beautiful in the history of the instrument.

Sadly, I have abandoned guitar. But when I did play this I discovered what I think is a brilliant closing harmonic on the sixth string. I think Tarrega would approve!

Very well played, I play fingerstyle but I'm turning more & more to classical these days. I find it peaceful whilst playing so I might give this one a go. ✌️😷🖖
