I was at this tournament. I was only 12 years old, and got to see Tiger up close walking up to the first tee on Sunday. I had the courage to say “Go Tiger!” as loud as I could. Let me tell you something: Tiger stared through my soul. It freaked me out but all those years later, I realized he just was focused on getting the win. Which of course, he did.
