Great to see more volleys from Elena at the net - that's definitely the work of Goran.

Elena’s played the world number one and two ranked juniors back to back and only lost 5 games in 4 sets 😂 The level between the top juniors and the top women is crazy 🔥

One day EJ will tell her grandkids, “I beat Elena TWICE at the Australian Open!” (then in a whisper) “…two games…”

IT was exactly the same thing that happened to Djokovic when he qualified to AO -2005 at age 16...complete demolition by Safin ..

Unless your are a Top 10 player at least! It must be scary playing Rybakina! 3 x Grand Slam Finals, and Grand Slam Champion, already saying she wants be World No 1! And the most powerful serve and ground strokes in the game! Honestly, this seemed like a warm up practice for her! Frightening and awesome at the same time! Love her, Love her game!🙏

Emerson Jones is a small lady but she hits with power, though not as much as Rybakina, who hardly has to try. Her power is due to her size, broad shoulders and good training.

Extended highlights on a double breadstick? I have to check out this editing job.
Edit: lots of errors, a few decent winners, lots of Rybakina. Doing extended highlights for a match like this seems a bit cruel.

I've seen Rybakina beat top 20 players 6-1, 6-1, and Jones was in most rallies and played ok. But Rybakina has so much power she can embarrass even the very best of they are not on top form! It was a good learning experience for Jones, now she knows the very top level, and can put the work in! 👍🙏

So because she Australian the SIXTEEN year old was allowed in the major tournament?
What a load of crap, unless the AO (or any of the other majors) allow a recent Juniors major champion to play even if she is ranked outside 300.

Rybakina has such a fluid, powerful game. Like a Muchova/Sabalenka highbrid. While I would love to see her win another slam, just not one with Swiatek playing in it. This girl should have those types of titles already on hard courts. I find her lazy and complacent like Borat.

Elena too powerful for a new player. I hope she gets to the semifinal and final

Rybakina fires winners like a hungry fish.

Rybakina's movement and swings in the follow through doesn't look smooth...She needs more matches practice
