Those joycons are extra neat. I got mine today and i noticed the II controller will only register as player 2 (at least while the NES NSO app is running) and I would assume the I controller only connects as player 1 and thats a neat touch

The hard enamel pins (polished smooth ones) are way more expensive to make.
I guess they used the soft enamel pins for other bundle as a cost saving measure.

I got my famicom controllers in a trip to Japan this year, went to the Nintendo store in Kyoto, very lucky they had in stock the famicom controllers, also the snes and n64 ones they had them, so I bought all of them. In this trip just found out you need to be subscribed to the online service, but it is free region, I had a 7 day free trial from my Mexican Nintendo subscription, and it worked just fine, they let me buy no problem.
Having the controllers, I don’t see the point in buying the Japanese collectors edition.
But it is nice to see the unboxing, thanks for sharing.

The US release has hard enamel pins, the Japanese has soft enamel. It's purely a preference thing.

To be honest in my opinion US version has more nostalgia to the real version of nwc having the cartridge beats the Japanese version 100 percent!!

There were more acrylic stands to the bonus that you didn’t get. They only gave you the one you were supposed to get a pack with a whole bunch of them.

I was wondering if the Japanese version has the DISK music from The Legend of Zelda. That would have made the Famicom version worth buying, alone. Kind of a let down, but nice to know I don’t have to buy two versions of this game.
