It will be {(1, 1)(2, 2) (3, 3) (4, 4) (1, 2) (2, 1) (1, 3) (3, 1) }
For transitive:-
If (a, b) belongs to R
And (b, c) belong to R
Then (a, c) should belong to R
But (2, 1) belong to R
(1, 3) belong to R
But (2, 3) not belongs to R

Hence not transitive but reflexive and symmetric

For students who were confused like me for question iii

For transitive Condition is (a, b)ER (b, c)ER and (a, c)ER
Where abc are different
So (iii) is incorrect as it's like (1, 2)(2, 1)(1, 1) so it'll not be transitive as same no. is used

Sir, 5:26 minute in 3 rd question you written this (1, 1) (2, 2) (1, 2) (2, 1) but it is following the condition of transtive because here (1, 2) (2, 1) then(1, 1) present in relation .

Sir apka 3rd wale example me mistek ho gyi h usme transitive bhi ban rha h

Sir 3rd wala equivalence relation ban rha hai. Agar relation se (1, 1) hata de toh relation transitive nhi rhega but fir reflexive bhi nhi rhega🙏🏻

Sir 4th part me (3, 3) bhi aayega reflexive banane ke liye check it

Sir 5th Walla example bhi galat hai
(1, 2), (2, 1)€R. But, (1, 1)not €R .
Transitive for every element hota hai na.🙏👍🙏👍🙏👍

Sir in board we can write like this to get marks or we have write in the form of R={x, y for some case} for marks

For those who are confused in 3rd part, I have a diff soln for this ques
3) R and S but not Transitive
=> R = { (2, 2), (3, 2), (2, 3) }
as (2, 2) € R it's reflexive
as (3, 2) € R & (2, 3) € R so it's symmetric
But no transitive

(1, 1), (2, 2), (3, 3), (1, 2), (2, 1), (2, 3), (3, 2)
Yaa relation rekho

Fir (1, 3) relation se belong nai keryga mtlb transitive nai hoga
