Our New Life in Greece Starts Now! Expats Living in Naxos 🇬🇷

We have moved to Naxos, Greece. Naxos is a mi-size Greek island in the centre of the Cyclades. We've rented an apartment and we're so excited to be staying here for awhile and slowing down our travels.

In this video we walk around the main Naxos town, Chora. We discuss all the reasons we decided on Naxos to live including good internet speeds.

We also discuss the weather in Naxos during October, and what is open and closed given it's the end of the tourist season.

As we walk around we stop at a place called Gregory's Coffee Shop. We planned to get a sandwich but we found a Greek Koulouri (similar to a bagel) filled with cream cheese and turkey.

We take you on a tour of the apartment we rented for the full month. It's a one bedroom apartment and there is a pool as well.

At the end of the video we make or way to Agios Georgios Beach (the main beach in town) for happy hour and sunset at a place called Finikas.

Nice to see you both back in Naxos! We visited in September and loved it. Wonderful restaurants, beaches and people. Your earlier video from Naxos helped inspired us to visit. We stayed about a block off of St George beach. Can not wait to return. Enjoy your extended stay.

Kitron (Main Street Chora) has excellent coffee - the best espresso freddo & fabulous food. The staff work so hard and excel in customer service!! 🇬🇷🥰. My son got married on Naxos in July and we spent 3 magical weeks there. You’ve chosen the best island!!!

Great job on choosing Naxos! However as the winter nears, your best bet for bigger town + warm weather would be Crete or Rhodes (that you've seen before) or even further.. Cyprus! They have swimming weather well into November there!
Also while you're on Naxos, make sure you do a day trip to Amorgos and Koufonisia..look them up 😎
