I've had the 3020 Promax for a while now. I hope this new 3030 does a better job at cutting aluminum (less tool bit chatter and backlash) with the ball screws. That's what I really want to see the 3030 do before I spend $900

Thanks for the detailed video on the build of the 3030 Prover Max. I'd also expect the machine to process aluminum as it's equipped with ball screws. Could you already gather some experience with processing aluminum? On Facebook and a short I see a Turner Cube made of aluminum. I could not surely see if it was made with the 3030. I know making videos is a lot of work. So could you give some written information on that?
In the meantime I saw the Turner Cube tutorial (thanks for that) and I could see the 3030 was used.

Hi James. Do you know if the Fox ALien relay device that you did a video on (the one that enables the control of the router/vacuum, etc.) will connect to the Genmnitsu ProverXL V2 (the Spindle connection seems to be different than the adaptors they provide)?

Just got this 3030 prover max today, I have read all the manual but still not confident enough to start the machine. The assembling process is simple but then after the things you have to do to prepare the machine for its first cut aren't so clear to me. I'd like to use it mainly with the offline controller.
Would you be kind enough to make another video that shows every steps from importing 2d and 3d models in Candle, sending the G-code to the sd card and all that ?

Interesting the 3030 comes with Ball screw grease. But the bigger 4030 doesn't. The type of lubricant isn't even specified in the manual and I've heard using dry PTFE spray will cause damage, so I don't want to use wrong spec !
