Such an underrated song that takes me back to the mid 80s like a time machine !! Life seemed so much simpler back then…

The Hooters were classic 80's. "All you Zombies", is another of their song's worth a listen.

Brad Nailed it, High School Dance vibes and young love, maybe cause that is exactly what I was doing when this song came out. The Hooters were a local band in my town in the early 80's they started out playing in small clubs local venues just like the Exton PA Drive in you see in in the video, and Ardmore PA. They didn't hit it big until their Nervous Night album in 85 when I saw them at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby PA, a small 1000 seat venue, my very first concert at 15 years old. This was their biggest hit but they have quite a few more, here are some of them: Day by Day / All you Zombies / Where do the Children Go / Blood from a Stone / Nervous Night / Satellite...

There were so many musical artists that came from the Philadelphia area during the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. It's possibly because the show American Bandstand was filmed in Philadelphia. The Hooters best song is All You Zombies and they also wrote Time After Time famously sung by Cyndi Lauper.

I love this song, it’s infectious! Not hard rock, more pop rock! The eighties were so fun!❤️❤️

I went to college in Philadelphia in the early - mid 80s. Hooters frequently played at area bars and small to medium venues. A really fun band live.

80s pop rock, they were a great band, only had a hand full of hit songs though. Brings back great memories.

That's not a banjo you hear. It's a Mandolin. I saw these guys in 1987 during my first year in college. The Hooters had an almost early indi-rock kind of sound, mixing tradition blue grass elements with synth pop and rock. Very unique, very cool, very 80's

This was a regular party dance floor song back on the day. Good times.
Also, not a banjo, a mandolin.

Finally!! Some Hooters! From my hometown. That keyboard instrument that they blow into is called a Hooter. Other songs to check out “Blood from a Stone”, “Where do the children go”, “Twenty Five Hours a day” and “Beat up Guitar”. Also, fun fact, the Hooters wrote the song “Time After Time” for Cyndi Lauper.

Here in Portugal the bigest hits were "Karla with a K" - "Johny B" and "Satellite". Great band discovered by the amazing Cindy Lauper.

Never knew they were a Philly day despite always loving this song. Makes sense. This was one of the few late electronica, Dexy’s Runners bands I really remember enjoying. Still do

Twenty years ago, unknown at the time, my buddies and I were playing in a weekly Disc Golf Doubles League with Hooters Bassist Andy King. He was just Andy, Had no idea until I saw this video again and we were like "Hey, That's Andy from Disc Golf!" No ego, no anything, he was just there to hang out and play some Disc Golf. Very cool. BTW, those instruments with the mini-keyboards on them that they were blowing into are called Hooters.

Great memories associated with this song. From my high school years back in the Eighties. I saw Brad trying so hard not to smile while the song was playing and Lex nailed the tone of the video. I enjoy your reactions to songs like this. Someone mentioned Day by Day-another great one!
